Nazat Chowdhury is an investor with strong ties to the Bangladesh industrial and startup ecosystem, and an executive with 20 years in in the supply chain and shipping, transportation field in Bangladesh and the Middle East.  During his professional career in Finance and Information Technology at large logistics houses like Maersk and Port of Salalah in Oman, Nazat oversaw large scale transformations in systems, finance and IT processes, developed an intimate knowledge of operations in the ports and container terminals, and gained a large professional network in the field of logistics in the South Asia and Middle East regions. He currently heads the IT and Project Management groups at Save the Children, a large non-profit organization.  

Nazat is a long term member of Bangladesh Angels Network and is active with industry associations in the region.

Nazat received Bachelors & Masters degrees in Accounting & Business Management from the National University in Dhaka, Bangladesh, an MBA from the Independent University, Bangladesh, and IDCS (International diploma in computer studies) from the National Computing Council of UK.
